For those who do not know much about golf, the Ryder Cup is a tournament that matches  Europe’s best golfers against America’s best golfers. The Ryder Cup is partnered with PGA and when played in the States it is also partnered with Omega. It is also the official timekeeper chosen by the U.S. team.

Leading up to the start of the Ryder Cup in September 28, Omega has released the official timekeeper for the Ryder Cup in the form of specially branded 41mm Seamaster Aqua Terra. Many may be familiar with this model that includes a stainless steel and an antimagnetic movement that has been certified as a Master Chronometer. The only differences being that this timepieces has gold accents throughout the dial, strap, and caseback. The central seconds hand are made from 18k gold, while the case back has a 24k gold rendering of the Ryder Cup logo applied to its surface. The presentation of the watch comes in a neat box and along with a stainless steel bracelet.
