This new Pinion TT A. GMT watch is one of the most useful watches even more than a chronograph or date watch. This timepiece is perfect for the usual traveler or business person. Adding a sexing timezone for a watch really makes it easy for those who go back and forth through time zones. Another time zone just takes those live life much easier.

The detailing on this new Pinion is very fine and detailed which surprises me due to the price it is listed as. The first thing that caught my eye was how well the dial and hour markers are manufactured in deep detail. This is rarely met by brands that have prices similar to Pinion.

Those who criticized the use of the Miyota movement on the Atom model won’t have to worry with this new Pinion TT. Instead it houses the famous ETA2893-2 movement. The decorated 2893-2 calibre can be well seen through the beautiful caseback with its blue rotor.

This special movement has an independent 24 hour hand that can be set. Most GMT watches like the Rolex GMT-Master II has an independent 12-hour hand, not and independent 24- hour hand. This is the way of adding another timezone. The shape of the GMT hand has a little knick or curves near the end, to ‘lift’ the arrow over the applied numerals which is a very not that Pinion added. Pinion’s TT has a 42mm diameter case with a height of 13mm.

The two variants of this Pinion TT include a maroon coloured dial and one with an anthracite dial. The Pinion TT has a water resistance of 10 bar (~ 100 meters) and comes with a two-year warranty which is a nice feature. The retail price of the Pinion TT is 2,350 ( incl. Vat) £1,958.33.
