Over the years Oris has been releasing vintage style watches and the most notable collection, Divers Sixty Five Collection. Today the brand releases a reissued iconic model, the Chronoris. Oris released their first chronograph in 1970 with a typical seventies “pilot’s” or “helmet” case. This watch was also the first to be dedicated to the motorsport world. These watches had a motorsport vibe with typical color combinations and bright orange accents. The production of these motorsport watches was stopped in 2005 due to a crisis. Now in 2018, these renowned Oris watches have come back to the market.

This watch is a true “Chronoris” style, with masculine and robust features and a 1970s style case. The style of these watches are rather bulky and heavy but Oris have redesigned them to be lighter with a 40mm case. The Oris Chronoris Limited Edition is limited to 200 pieces and available either on a perforated brown leather strap, on black rubber or on a steel bracelet.

Some may realize that Oris used the same dial as the Williams 40th anniversary edition, with the only difference having the bright orange accents instead of the dark blue accents. Its a beautiful chronograph with vertically arranged 30-minute and 12-hour counters and no small seconds.
