The 2020 Olympics will be taking place in Japan and as many might know Omega is the official timekeeper for the games. In celebration for the 2-year countdown for the games, Omega introduced a collection of Speedmaster. In the collection there are a set of 5 watches, each representing the colors of each ring on the iconic Olympic Rings. Although many Speedmaster lovers have gone crazy over the release, this Omega collection is only for the Japanese Market.

As you can see, many of the watches for the 2020 Collection have been inspired from existing or discontinued models. Three of the five watches are in stainless steel while the other two have gold aspects included. The Apollo 15 35th anniversary edition is one of those watches used to inspire this collection. The watches are limited to up to 2020 pieces and can be bought as the set of five. The set of five is limited to 55 pieces.

Ultraman had the ability that could size-up and turn into a gigantic super-powered Ultraman but could only fight for 3-minutes before his energy would be depleted.

This is in fact the second partnership between Omega and Fratellowatches as their first collaboration was the first Speedy Tuesday Speedmaster launched back in 2017. In addition to the orange center seconds hand, the new Ultraman also has orange hour markers, and a black and orange tachymetric bezel; the word “Speedmaster” is in orange as well.
There is another tribute, this time being to Omega watch enthusiasts. the bezel features a dot positioned above the number 90, in tribute to the “dot over 90” bezel used on pre-1970 Speedmasters. To conclude this scifi-watch, Omega has added a black and orange NATO strap and also a black leather strap with orange stitching. The first Speedy Tuesday sold out in less than 2 hours according to Omega so if you are planing on reserving this watch you better hurry up!
